Smartphones kill people all the time, Apple/Google/Samsung do not get sued for it.

It's your own damn fault if you're looking at your phone/texting/playing a game when you should be driving.

Tell that to a parent, if one should loose a kid. I'm not against P go, I play it but just out of bordom. What I am against is putting this out as a free app and not putting a price on it like .99 cent or something to route out a few Kids as well as putting no effort into warning people that their 6 year old will be in danger and having some parental lock upon start up, instead leaving it to a simple message. Oh and if you get shot on the street its your fault,...not the gun shop that sold an rifle to a sociopath. If you get shoot by a cop, its your fault and not the Polices training policy or vetting proccess. If your house burns down or you loose a leg from a hover exploding, its not the companies fault, right? Get real, its like putting candy/seets on the shelf in your store, the best candy/sweets ever, so attractive looking right but you put some cyanide in the middle and tell the kids only eat around the outside. and not the centre.

Actually, it isn't the job of the app maker to ensure the child understands proper use.  That is on the parents.  That is called raising and teaching a child.

Secondly, that part when you start the app up that warns you about being aware at all times?  6 or 60, your own responsibilty.  Too young for it to be your own responsibility?  Then your parents should've made sure you didn't have a cell phone with access to the app.

And perhaps if more people told parents it was their fault for not monitoring their child well enough we wouldn't have people trying to pass blame for the actions of individuals onto companies.

You're actually defending corporation who don't give two fucks about human life or the consequences of their products as long as it makes money and they're not liable to the law. It name calll here but I'm above conversing with someone who has their priorities set to blindly worship companies over basic human compassion and morals.

You are making an awful lot of assumptions about me there.  I am not defending corporations, I am holding people accountable for their own actions.  Based on what you are saying no one should ever make an item that could potentially result in harm to another human because of some weird moral obligation to hand-hold humanity through life.  It doesn't work that way.  In your world would we have knives to cut our meat?  Or would those be too dangerous for the children who don't have parents teaching them how to use them?

Please tell me you're joking. There's no way this is real.

People will die. people will sued, lawsuits galore.

I'm literally in shock. I had no idea that people could even think like this.

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

Welcome to the "it's someone else's fault" mentality.

It's not worth it Neo. He really doesn't deserve our attention. Just let him think the way he does. He's probably immune to people calling him crazy at this point, so there's no reason to even try to say anything to him.

Sony just did it with the PS4
and Microsoft is doing it with Minecraft

I dont think it's possible. A game that forces u to get out of home is something unique.

If Sony/MS could, I guess the question then is why haven't they? And no, throwing a ton of money at Minecraft after the fact is not the same thing.

Sony/MS don't have any qualms about making mobile apps, for Nintendo it was a tougher decision because they had to consider the implications for their portable hardware business so they resisted for many years.

Well, in terms of hardware, Sony created a cultural phenomenon called Playstation. So you could say PS4 is Sony's Pokemon GO. It prints money.gif

MS recently bought Minecraft which is HUGE. They didn't created it though.

Nope.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
