Also one more clear fact, PS4 sold more than 40m consoles worldwide from which only 3m in Japan, that is definitely not good.

So we can say PS4 is selling on same level like PS3 in Japan, while in rest of the world PS4 is selling twice better than PS3, so you cant really say PS4 has good sales in Japan, actually have bad sales compared to rest of world. But you can still deny that clear fact.

As i said again... mods save us from our despair. The guy doesn't care about official reports or anything and he is getting really annoying. We are trying to provide solid evidence by spending time on the net in order to inform all the members in this community and he is hitting the levels of trolling...

It doesn't matter how it's selling compared to other regions. It's still outpacing the PS3 in Japan. Are these "good" numbers? Yes and no. They are good when you take the current state of the home console market into account, but if you don't, then it's not good. You clearly aren't taking the current state of the home console market into account, and that's okay, but when people say that these are good numbers, they are taking the current state of the home console market into account.

The shrinking of the market is not nearly as present "everywhere else" so yes it does disprove you're point.

Whole gen is a disaster there. Nobody wins a cock measuring contest in comparing Japanese home console numbers.

PS4 being on par with the PS3 so far is certainly good enough. The real problem is the next couple of years. That's when the PS3 peaked and I'm not sure we can expect the same for the PS4. The PS3 Slim changed everything. Unless PS4 Slim or Neo or VR can do that than that's where it gets problematic.
