Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Biggest issue(s) with Microsoft for you

This is the third thread im making for issues with big companies. I'm sure it'll be fun to see what everyone dislikes about Microsoft. I only have a few issues with microsoft:

1) forcing windows 10 updates. I liked windows 7 a lot more.

2) Xbox One launch was horrendous.

3) Windows deletes my files too much. Usually they aren't important files, but it gets annoying seeing them disappear.

4) The Windows Store exists.

5) windows phones exist.

6) Windows 8 existed

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

- Forcing Windows compatibility kind of makes redundant to have the console.
- Terrible game library and lack of game variety.
- Sony exists. And its better. So much better.

My issue is too many games. In the Xbox Store, about 30 games have released within the past two weeks. What's good, what isn't? How am I supposed to know when the vast majority of those games get no press?

I'm just going to focus on Xbox.

1) A disastrous launch with all that DRM nonsense
2) Not following through on Kinect
3) Mismanaging Halo after Bungie left
4) Mismanaging Rare/Rare's IPs
5) Closing Lionhead and robbing the world of Fable
6) Lackluster first-party software in general
7) Buying timed exclusives

No more Links golf games

- I actively distrust Microsoft.

This one is important because it bleeds into everything and encompasses a lot. GFWL was terrible, one my worst experiences with gaming. They tried to take control of the market with a terrible product while forcing extra fees. The original Xbox One is another example. Not giving users any control with W10 updates is another example. They tried to force through an inferior product with IE6. The list goes on so I just tucked it all under this one point.

- Microsoft tries to force what they want rather than give consumers choices. W8, for example. They TOOK AWAY customization that was in beta builds for W10.

- UWP sucks for gaming but they're trying to push it through before it's suitable.

- Related to the above, the lies and garbage they've put PC gaming through as a whole.

- Lack of variety in terms of first party developed content.

In the Xbox space, they're actually a lot less unlikable than they once were. I really could not stand previous regimes.

Sticking with the gaming portion just like I did with Sony.

-Closing out Lionhead and pretty much killing Fable IP
-Not advancing towards a new Black & White (case in point to the Lionhead situation)
-Dismantling Rareware from what it was to what it is now
-Making Banjo Kazooie look terrible
-Making games exclusive to a Operating system
-Mismanaging the Halo franchise

We are on the same page today!

Overall miss management from hardware, to software, to games and studios.
