Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Around the Network

Finally today my father managed to "reserve" some of Nintendo's stock, as soon as the Tokyo stock market is open we'll know how many shares we own, depending on the exchange Euro-Yen which luckily was rising in our favor last time I checked, hope the European and Japanese release keep the stock rising

If they do Fire Emblem and Animal crossing right, Nintendo will return to Wii and DS like profits once again. Nintendo is no stranger to the mobile market. The Gameboy line and DS line were basically the Smartphones of the 90's-mid 2000's. They can make great mobile gaming experiences. Let's hope all this success doesn't go to their heads though.

Ahh you know NTDOY is a parcel of Nintendo Japan Stock right? It's basically valued exactly the same. http://www.uncommonwisdomdaily.com/two-rules-for-trading-pink-sheet-stocks-11858

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
