Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo NX: RX470, ARM, Gamescon Announcement, SCD etc. Rumor

I'll be honest, I didn't bother to watch the video.

As long as the ARM processor oesn't bottleneck the Polaris 10 GPU, and Nintendo fills it with more than 4GB of RAM (hopefully DDR4 or GDDR5), it could be a powerful enough, relatively small, not too expensive and efficient device.

The only problem is the source of this rumor, which has like 0 credibility.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Around the Network

Its foolish to trust any of this but I hope its true. I'd love BC with the Wii U gamepad. A 470 with 12 GB Of GDDR5 would make it a powerhouse of a Nintendo system. I'd pay top shelf prices for this.

Any rumour with a specific graphics card name is AUTOMATICALLY bs.

Consoles have never used retail graphics cards, or referred to them in their specs or marketing. It may use the same silicon die, but the packaging, clocks, memory, fusing and featureset are always different.
