Double post.... this site is running really badly for me the last few days.

Around the Network

The drop is noticeable is some games.

Uncharted 4 is very noticeable especially considering how fast moving the game is. Gears Ultimate is also very noticeable even though its a slow moving game.

But something like Quantum Break seems fine at 30 fps.

60 all the way. Gaming at 60 is a minimum standard for PC these days, how long are consoles going to be stuck at sub 30?

I don't have that issue, luckily. I can't stand 30fps MP, games like Battlefield and TF2 would be insufferable at such low frame rates, especially at higher resolutions and sitting close to the display.

I have yet to play a game with this setup, ergo I don't feel very strongly about it either way, since it has yet to affect me.

I suspect that it would become a bit jarring though; going from 60fps gameplay to the 30fps Plaza hub in Splatoon always felt like I was having some sort of mild stroke.

Around the Network

I would rather have 60 fps on both, but at least more developers are starting to see the importance of a higher frame rate.

It's fine, most people dont even bother with some campaigns

id prefer 30 fps for both honestly.

I prefer better visuals over slightly more fluid gameplay in my campaigns. For MP I prefer slightly more fluid gameplay, so I am totally fine with it.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

The average PC gamer is not playing X1/PS4 quality games at 60 fps.

That's apparent looking at Steam statistics.
