Seems like a fad, sadly. It's not compelling enough to stick around after you go catch a few pokemon.

I would say it's surprising considering it's very easy to play the game without spending a dime, but then again it's not really. I bet there'll be plenty of people who'll end up spending more money on this game than the price of an actual real Pokemon game.

I just saw a poster at my station that a local group will hold a meeting to catch pokemon, they have already more than 1600 people registered after 45 minutes.
