Forums - Politics Discussion - 11 officers shot, 1 bystander shot during protests over recent shootings

https://www.rt.com/usa/350047-police-shot-dallas-protest/

Apparently two shooters have shot 11 officers. Four are dead, two in surgery. One other person was shot. It seems as though someone turned themselves in.

Quite sad to see this. People taking their anger out on officers simply there to do their jobs. Really hoping for these issues to end soon. Tragic to see protests end so violently.

Then again, seeing people from the same country do this to each other is sickening. I wonder why anyone would think shooting random cops is worth it. Most of them probably have done nothing wrong, and yet they suffer for the actions of horrible policemen and hateful people.

I guess that's America.

Shooting innocent cops isn't going to solve currupt cops from cropping up it makes the other side look both stupid and irrational. Those cops didn't do anything to deserve to be killed or injured. Sure, it sucks that we have shitty officers in this country and we need to do something about it -but killing cops isn't the way to go about it. What's done is done, killing them won't bring back the innocent killed by the incompetent.

I work in Dallas. Scary stuff. I will definitely be conceal carrying tomorrow. Be careful tonight my friends in law enforcement.

This is truly sad, both my dad and grandfather were in the force for a long time. It's sickening to see this happening to the people that risk their lives everyday for us because of something that they had nothing to do with. I hope for the best for the families of the deceased and the lives of both the injured and those in law enforcement during these times.

Cops are humans like any other human. They make mistakes, they are stressed and their lives matter too. Imo their lives as humans matter as much as other lives, their lives don't matter more than other lives though. Unfortunately when good and innocent people die from bullets fired from stupid bad people, humans pay for it. Not just civilians or cops. If America wants to get rid of all that hatred, they first need to look for human life first instead of placing some humans above others. Killing, no matter who you are, will bring killing back. It's really sad people don't understand that.

Guns aye....

And this is why Police shoot black people in the first place.

Because that's how you solve this issue, gun down some people that had nothing to do with the recent shootings.
Lunatics. -_-

lol, is it even confirmed the shooters are black?

Anyways, that fucking sucks for those victims and their families. Is it really that surprising though? Cops so carelessly shoot so many young black males. It wouldn't be shocking for a few of them to fight back.
