really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

I got in really late, started with the N64. It still works though. Still, none of my consoles ever broke down. I think the gamecube is the one I've used the most, but its obviously not as old as the N64.



My original GBA SP still works (while I lost the charger), same goes for all of my consoles excluding my PS2, which, after falling from a height of about 1.30m decided to never read a disk again.
Noteworthy is the case of my DS lite, which is still functional after beeing thrown in the fireplace by my sister !

My 22-year-old SNES still works flawlessly.



Atari Lynx II - 25 years
Sega Dreamcast 16 years
Xbox 14 years
PSP - 11 years

 

All still work perfectly to this day. =)



NES, got it for christmas in 1989, still have it and it still works. N64 that we got for christmas 1998, still works. PS1 that I bought in 1997, still works.



Nintendo Entertaiment System (NES) 1985, (30 years) still plays all the games i have... Nintendo quality..... in fact all my nintendo consoles still works GB, Super Nes, GBA, N64, Gamecube, Wii, can't say the same of the sony ones ps1 die, ps2 die... and i dont have a ps3.



34 years playing games.

 

Atari Junior 1987 still working, played a few times a year 29 years

NES 1989 still working and played regularly 27 years

SNES 1991 still working and played a little less than NES 25 years

n64 1996 still woriking, played every few months 20 years

Gamecube 2002 still working, played every few months 14 years

Dreamcast 2000 still working played every few weeks 16 years

Wii 2012 used it quite a bit, still played occasionally 4 years

PS2 2001 still working played a few times a year 15 years

Xbox 360 2005 1st one lasted 1 year, 2nd one two months, 3rd one two months, wife bought me the Star Wars edition for xmas in 2011 it does great

PS3 2006 1st one lasted about 4 years, never hardly used, disc drive died(after maybe 100 hours of use, got a Slim for cheap in 2014 it does great

WiiU 2012 It has at least 1000 hours on it, if not more between the 4 members of the family, going strong
