To be fair, consoles can make useless gimmicks sell quite a bit. Think of the Wii and Kinect.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
I tried Vr at E3. Trust me, no one will use it after a week.

Yeah, but the price will be a real issue here, going by mass-market preference, smartphones have the greatest chance of one day making VR a big thing. Traditional gaming likely won't be affected much at all by VR for some time, just like with Kinect and the Wii-mote.
Price point really is the "key" to winning this race.
Any and all things sony can do to bring down the price point will be big.
399$ is still too much... if they could get that down even just 100$ more, I think it would have a big impact on adoption rates.
HTC vive and Occulus are too expensive, and demand too pricy a PC.

The Kinect was bundled in and so was the Wii Mote. If Sony bundled the PSVR and PS4 it would cost no less than $700.
