There is no MODERATE Islam. Just like there is no moderate Christianity.

The only reason moderate Muslims are perceived as moderate is because they omit the parts of Islam that do not fit the 21st century. In other words, they are lazy Muslims who can't bring themselves to live by the holy book and hadith, and sometimes, they can't bring themselves to even read them.

Lazy is fine. Lazy Christians, who can't bring themselves to even read the bible, didn't stand in the way of moral progress. Muslims becoming lazy, when it comes to practicing religion, is a good thing.

Let's call it as it is, no need for politically correct terms like "moderate Muslims". They are just lazy, and partially or subconsciously unconvinced of their own beliefs.

Like Christianity, some of I has been twisted.

Explain? Just curious

It needs reform really badly. Christianity's fangs have been ripped out centuries ago thanks to the Protestant Reformation, the Renaissance, and the Age of Enlightenment. It is time for the same to happen for Islam.

theres nothing wrong with a believe, there is something wrong with people pushing their believe on others or people using religion as an excuse to hurt others.

I don't like Islam. Many muslims I know are horrid people, but that has more to do with them and not their religion.

In terms of terrorism, that also doesnt have much to do with Islam here in the west, and more to do with mental health. (Rigby murder and nightclub shooting)

For London, the influx of Muslims hhas brought a lot of misery to several communities and businesses (ie genuine indian or south indian non halal resturants being bullied / shut down by fake inspections etc. Horrid stuff really, like I said I distance myself from muslims because they generally are terrible people to deal with especially in business.

It's always a good question of whether or not it's the person or the religion that's the problem. It's a bit of both, but most of it is the religion. The religion is a predefined way of living your life with a set of rules to live by as well as consequences that have convinced a person's ancestors before them and before them and so on that their way of living and looking at the world is correct. And thus these beliefs are hard grained into the general society they live in and can't escape from unless they became blind, deaf, and dumb. The cycle is the problem, and it can only be attributed to the religion, as breaking general cycles can be nearly impossible until something or a huge amount of somethings happen to break said cycle. One person alone isn't strong enough to overthrow an idea, but maybe many strong persons (and unfortunate martyrs) can over a period of time.

Just another religion abused by deranged idiots to justify murder.

I don't mind it but I pray (pun intended) that the new found atheism that's sweeping through the west finds its way to the middle east eventually.

It's dangerous having so many young muslims who truly believe what a made up book tells them.

I know a lot of older Christians do too but they're generally more moderate and the kids of today pay very little attention to Christianity.

The biggest problem is that their prophet was a rapist, slave master and a murderer.

It's like christianity without bacon.

Didn't Christianity forbid bacon too? If I recall, it stated it in Leviticus.
