Disciple Lorithia from Xenoblade Chronicles.

Dr. Wily in Mega Man 7.

.....I think this is the third time I've seen a boss battle related thread in the past couple months...

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

The ones I can remember from the top of my head:

Hard Balls from Pursuit Force.God dammit, that Boss was ruthless.Even if I did everything perfect, I couldnt kill him because the time runs out.And to make matters worse:during this time I was trying to defeat him, me and my family got stuck in the airport of Madri for 2 days.I swear to this day that that happened because I was unable to defeat Hard Balls. And we managed to get on a plane only after i did manage to beat him.Im saying, its not a coincidence.

The other boss would be FFX final boss.Well, taking out the fact that it took me years toi beat that game for several reasons, the moment that I did reach the final boss, he just wiped the floor with me.After that, it was hours upon hours(that spawned days) of grinding, and when i was done with that, took more 2 days of developing strategies to take him down.Ohhhhh but the satisfaction of finally beating him was so good. And to this day, I am still of the opinion that FFX ending is one of the bests of all time.

The more recent boss to get me stuck is the second boss you face in Bloodborne.I dont exactly remember his name.I think he was a priest or something.Well, its the ones you face after the Beast boss on the bridge.Anyways, it took me more than 20 tries to beat him. That damn boss...

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

The last boss to Samurai Shodown 6. That guy is an absolute motherfucker, and that is saying something, in a vast array of absolute motherfucker fighting game bosses. He was a special brand of prick.

The fire dude off Demon souls (can't remember his name, might of been flamelurker), his attacks pretty much  kill with one hit and there's no proper pattern to the way he moves and attacks.

I only played one and two. A couple of the hardest games I ever encountered. I don't even like thinking about them nowadays!

The Prophet of Regret on Legendary in Halo 2. Seriously, fuck that guy. Legendary in Halo 2 is already broken in how unfairly difficult it is, but Regret is a flunky boss of the worst type. Not only does he have infinitely respawning Honor Guard Elites, he teleport spams, he has a powerful beam attack, and he can take a ton of punishment.

But at least I beat him. I was never able to figure out a way to beat Emerald and Ruby Weapons in FFVII. The optional dragon boss that guards Cecil's most powerful sword in FFIV was also a tough bastard that gave me a hard time, but I could beat him.

Those weapons--especially the one with the timer. I hear them back when. One of the most satisfying moments, ever!
