Yes, I guess so.

Digging up my first NES game in Animal Crossing on the Gamecube, how amazing it was that you could bring that fossil back to your house and play it, not only play it there but also use the GC>GBA link cable to transfer a copy of the title onto the GBA's RAM and play it on the go until you turned off the GBA, we will never see the likes of that again in a video game since now the virtual console exists to sell those NES titles to us directly.

Sure we got the museam in Smash Brawl and Smash 4 which included short demos of where some of the Nintendo characters had their origins but you'll never see full titles included with games now.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

He does count. And that makes me so sad.

It reminds me of my cousin, best friend, subject of more than a couple of my threads, and the reason I'm such a huge fan of video games, sci Fi, comics, and pretty much all things geeky. We were such gaming fans and he passed away on March 19th. Every cool game i got, I couldn't wait to show him. Now, I want to cry.

Playing PlayStation all stars in the lounge with all mt friends, won't happen cause i live in another country and i sold my ps3 lol

Guys, some of you didn't understand. It's not about a sensation that can't be replicated, it's about a whole thing that can't be repeated anymore because either the game ceased to exist or there's simply no resources to bring it back.

Well... unless all copies of a game don't exist anymore (basically impossible) them you can replicate them, unless as you said depend on people of your family or friend circle not being around anymore.

Zapper or light gun games won't be a thing. Once the CRT tv's are gone or extremely rare the games that used them won't be playable.

Agreed.  Playing Time Crisis on a 36" Sony flat screen ( I did not say flat panel) Trinitron was an arcade rush.  But games like Deadstorm Pirates via the Move just isn't the same.  Before, it was about accuracy and reaction.  Now it's just tracking a set crosshairs across the screen.

Throwing my controller out the window and bashing my PS one with my bare hands and bleeding from the effort because the fucking scissorman from Clock Tower caught me hiding in a cubicle in a goddamn bathroom.

It really happened. My brother beat me up for it.

And that'll never happen again. They don't make horror games like that no more.

The Brood Wars tournaments when they were big in South Korea.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Writing down long-ass passwords for RPGs. It was an absolute pain but, at the same time, it was kind of cool.

Well, also you won't buy a PSOne to throw it out of the window again will you?

And before you talk about horror games, have you seem what is expecting you on PSVR? And Evil Within is a very good horror game.
