Yes, hype is deflating somewhat but E3 was never going to be a biggie for them.

The game had its big reveal and blowout in March, its coming out in 2 months. People no longer care to see footage from it (we've seen more of it than with any FF at this point), they just want to play it. All the other big E3 games were literally just announced or were still shrouded in mystery.

Hopefully the next FF game is announced no more than 16months before it comes out.

The hype hasn't gone away. People that have been riding the hype train (online) just expected more from FFXV at E3 and have seen pretty much all they needed to see anyways. There's nothing left to see barring some surprises I don't think SE should show about this game. After uncovered, people were hyped to the max and then E3 didn't measure up to that level. That's ok though.

Came here to say this. I'm sure it will still sell well though, FFXIII managed to after all.

I'm personally I'm more hyped for the Final Fantasy XII Remaster than XV.

My hype for it died years ago and the more I see the less interested I become.

Don't flame me, this is just the opinion of someone who WAITED years and years for Versus XIII (the main reason I bought my PS3 back in 2006...).

I lost all my excitement around 2010-2011 when VS XIII was supposed to be 5 years into production at that point. We weren't given any news for years and well, I grew up. Here we are in 2016 with a new title, platforms, and a new name. And I'm still not being drawn back to this game. I've seen the demos and trailers and quite frankly, I'm not overly impressed with any aspect of it. It's going to take a lotol of GREAT reviews and statements from consumers before I even think about buying it. I just don't have time for another mediocre FF game...

To add, I'm more excited at the potential of KH3, or even World of Final Fantasy (it's something new and different).

Why would anyone flame you? this is a growing concensus.

It's been on a downward slope since the Duscae demo? While there are a lot of positive feedback from many who play it, people still like to shit on it in every opportunity.

I'm still hyped for it since day 1! +10years strong :P

I away expectant to see how it will turn out.

I don't think i will get it at launch. But we'll see.

I echo some people's sentiments that i am more hyped for World of FF than FFXV.
