I don't think he's going to change his mind. There's actually a serious discussion that could be had with paid and free online but you're not going to get it with one track minds. There are some parts that I can see his point but it's just wrapped up in his own bs.

I would like that Sony have kept it free... but since I know there isn't free lunch and I believe in free market if the customer have show they accept the pratice I won't complain about it (even more because I don't MP online)

Interesting that people would congrats a company charging you to play online.  Paying for the monthly games is another thing but as we saw with the PS3, that was not enough to get paid subs.  I am not sure if I would congrats Sony on a smart business move but will give them props for understanding what sells.

If the market accepts and pay without much problem them it was a smart move, unless you really think they would be selling a lot more PS4 and profitting even more without PS+ walling MP

I highly doubt that PS+ even come up within most people purchase decision on whether to get a PS4, X1 or Even WiiU.  Personally, I was only commenting on congrulating a company for making you pay for something thats basically should be free unless they added features that make it worth the cash.  For Online Play, it should be free and if you want some of the features added besides just basic network play only then should their be a charge.

In the end, I only care about if the company provide me a service worth my cash more than the company.  I am not going to congrulate them for making a smart choice to take my money because I want to play online.

Why not congratulate them on taking a decision that made the business profitable and sustainable (a thing it wasn't in the past) and just so you know there isn't nothing free in the world, someone will always be paying for it. Before it was Sony and now it's their costumers (and seeing like they have 1/2 their userbase paying for it it seems like the customers are happy enough to be charged for their online).

I disagree with the charge and wouldn't pay for PS+ for online, but I also disagree with MP online and would like more local MP games. But the market wants to go to another direction.

Man... you are full of it. You act like this is something new that no one has adressed before. Maybe it is the first time you are thinking about this, but it isn't for me. 

I agree, its impossible to have a debate because all you guys come up with is personal attacks and not actual arguments. I have explained why i think they are duped. They are ill informed and easy going. If you have the full facts and full sense you would know that what Sony and Microsoft are doing isn't right and it's just corporate greed.

But alas, i agree that a discussion isn't to be had when someone have their head so far into it they don't care to look around anymore. I mean the qestions you guys as me: Would it change your opinion if Nintendo did it? Why should it? What makes one thing that it can unless they kniw they themselves aren't beeing honest. Ignoring the fact you seem to not know the definition of gullible(yes gullible, not gullable) or duped - YOU started this thread by insulting people. You started it off be calling people sad, gullible and saying they were being duped. You came into this thread to insult people - and then immediately played the victim card.

I am actually glad that playstation is giving out mostly indie games. Because they are giving out NEW indie games. I much rather get a game that came out that month - than one that game out years ago.

First i didn't start the thread. Second i gave my opinion on what i think is sad news and not good. 

The critics i made were to the masses that chose to make that decision ignorant of the facts. I did not name anyone specifically on this thread until they did so to me, trying to write off my opinion as Nintendo fanboysm, wich quite honestly is pretty insulting and shows that the case is very different. I responded in a similar veign, but you are right, that was my queue to ignore.

lol and yet you just launched another personal attack because you're triggered.

In fact you haven't addressed some of my points. You are just one of these people that overreact. You "want better things" but you think you should be entitled to them. Honestly this whole fiasco you're causing is one big overreaction. I pay  for online, your opinion is it should be free. Then we have to ask what the effects of being free. Would we have the quality online experience we have now? Would online be a ad riddled place? If we want better then you do not get things for free.

You are not here to talk about the effects but just barge in trying to force you views. Would it be great if online was free with no compromise? Yes sure! Why not. Should we expect to pay for "wanting better things"? Yes. PS3 online lagged behind the 360 the whole generation because it was a free service. Imagine how much further behind it would be if it was still free. If you truly want better things and you want things to progress then why do you also expect to get them for free? 

If you're trying to make a case for casaul gamers then make a case! What would you do to try and make it fair? How would you implement your idea? Dual tier PS+? 1 tier with just online and another tier with free games? Certain amount of hours free a month to play online? What would you do?
