Forums - Movies & TV - Game of Thrones "Winds of Winter" Season 6 Finale Impressions?

I still think episode 9 was the best. It was the most intense episode to date and the sense of war and death has never had me more on edge on any film out program than episode 9.

I got the sense of conclusion quite early on this season and most the episodes have felt very slow, just building up as the pawns for the end game are moved into place.

The Jon Snow reveal was a long time coming and Bran along with the children of the forest was predicted a while back by fans.

It looks like the next season will be cover:

1) Jon Snow making preparations in the north as the wall comes down.

2) Dragon army arriving and establishing itself whilst Jamie takes out the Queen (for killing Tom).

3) the Hound taking out the Mountain.

4) Bran reuniting with Rob and Sansa and the truth coming out.

Final Season:

1) Starks, Targearyans, Tyrells, remaining Lannisters etc uniting against the white walkers.

2) final battle to take place in Winterfell.

3) there will be 3 Dragon Riders: Deanery's, Jon and Tyrion (Tyrion being a bastard Targearyan which is why his dad never liked him).

GoT ending in happiness would suck. In the end though, all the fan speculation fof years are turning out to be true which makes the show predictable.

Loved it but I do think the next season will be better now they've given themselves the opportunity to tighten the scenes by bringing many personal journeys closer together.

I really liked this season, but I'm afraid we'll have one of those happy endings, at the end of the series...

I went on and predicted some years ago that the end would have everyone dead while only dragons remain, humping each other and giving birth to Dragon Porn.

Let's see if I nail it.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

1 Jon is going to have to deal with Sansa and Littlefinger 1st.

2 She absolutely did not kill Tommen but Maggie the Frog's prophecy still hasn't fully been fulfilled.

3 Why is this a thing? Wouldn't be mad just don't care about it.

4 This would even further push Littlefinger and Sansa to do something.

He's in her head big time and she probably wouldn't mind being queen.

One thing about Sansa - she's completely useless. So many lives lost because of her. This is a hard show to watch because since Ned died there's been no one to root for.

I think we are way overdue for some Dragon Porn if you ask me.

Has it even been confirmed if some of them are male/female? Do they even have genders? Can't have much porn if it's just a bunch of asexual dragons...

Apparently there isn't much info on their reproduction:

But this is GoT and banging is the law of the land, even those who don't are just conserving potential sexual energy.

It was fucking amazing, I loved every bit of it, after a classic like "battle of bastard" this didn't dissapointed me at all, in fact I think I liked it even more.

This may not be one of the best seasons but I have really enjoyed it and episodes 5-9-10 were very memorable.

The Jon Sansa and Littlefinger thing won't drag out. It would have played out as you say I think had it been at the beginning of the season, but George is wrapping things up and I don't think he has the will to drag things out any longer. I think Littlefinger is going to meet his death next season. Either Jon or Sansa herself will deal with.

She killed Tommen indirectly as she knew he loved her and would do anything for her, yet when she could have saved the Queen, she killed her instead. Also, the younger brother could also be Jamie. It could also be someone else entirely. Some fan theories say it is the Hound since the prophecy doesn't state whether it is her brother or someone else's. Since she is close to the Mountain, it could very well be the Hound.

I think it's a thing because as we now know, Jon is part Targearyan and people love Tyrion. Since he was an outcast in his own family, they would like to elevate his position further.

I don't think Sansa will let him get to her now that she is in a position of power with her brother. I don't think she wants to be queen either after everything she has gone through and seen her family gone through.

Wanted this as a separate reply since it might be a bit long, so apologies in advance.

The Tyrion being a Targearyan theory comes from a few things other than fans wanting it because he is a badass:

1) there is a prophecy that a 3 headed dragon will free Westeros and restore order. The 3 heard dragon could be referring to either 3 Dragon's or 3 Targearyans since they are linked to Dragon's. We now know who two are and the third has yet to be revealed.

2) Tywins last words to Tyrion were that he isn't his father. There is a theory that Tyrions son was either raped or seduced by Aerys Targearyan. This not only caused the birth of Tyrion, but what got Tywin to go to war against the Targearyans.this would also make Tyrion and Denearys siblings.

3) Tyrion wasn't eaten alive and killed by the two Dragon's. They showed some restraint against him.

4) The three siblings have their mothers dying at birth common and all three have indirectly or directly led to the death of their loved one. Jon had to fight the wildlings and his love was killed under his command. Tyrion had to kill his love for betraying him. Deanery's had to kill Drago.
