Wii

I predict the NX will. Not saying it will sell more than Wii or DS, but I suspect Nintendo is tired of making a launch mistake (which is why the NX is launching in March 2017 and not late 2016 like it was internally planned for). Zelda NX is just the first game we officially no about, but I predict there will be at least 5-10 Nintendo made games launching within the first 3 months of the NX (not including 2nd/3rd party or indie/indie exclusives).

Wii had a great launch really

wii especially if you consider launch as "first years" not "first week". but they achieved that by starving the later years of the gc and they failed to sustain their support long term. nintendo are doing it again to the wiiU so i expect NX will have a great launch...

...but i will not be fooled again. i'll only decided on NX at the end of the second year on the market.

Can we all agree that Launch titles of games seems really important to nitnendos success?

Those gens they had strong launch titles they did better, than the gens without.
That makes them takeing time to make sure they have games for the NX launch, seem like a wise choice.

Looking at that list, probably will go with SNES or Wii

How far after launch was Melee? I'm pretty sure it has to be within the first month for sure as I got that game for Christmas.
Plus Rogue Squadron II as well which is still one of my favorite games ever.

SM64 was the best launch title ever while Zelda TP was just a mirrored gamecube game with messed up motion controls.

N64. That was a game that really showed why you needed a new console.
