Wii just because of Twilight Princess

Probably Wii's, even if it was basically a GameCube port and an Arcade Sport free mini-game (that felt like a demo).

It will be hard for NX to not top those horrible line-ups... Nintendo would need to seriously F up

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Super Nintendo I would say.

Super Mario World, F-Zero, Pilotwings, Sim City, Final Fight, Castlevania IV, and Final Fantasy II (IV) came soon thereafter.

Nintendo 64. There's simply no way you could ever beat Mario 64. That game was friggin' insane!

objectively speaking probably the SNES. 3 very solid and iconic games, 2 of which were franchise starters (to some degree, PIlotwings erhm)

a lot Zelda fanboys are picking the Wii which is funny because its pretty strongly arguable that the Gamecube version of the game is superior to the Wii's and its awkward controls.

The Wii with Wii Sports and Twilight Princess and the GameBoy with Tetris, Alleyway and Super Mario Land.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Wii easily had strongest, such a strong combination of revolutionary casual game and huge core and hyped game, perfect combination.
I hope Nintendo will do something similar with NX, we already have great and very hyped core game and now they need onothore strong and more appeling casual game.

For me I owned all six consoles, though I only owned the SNES near launch.

Super Mario Bros & Duck Hunt was one of the best game combos to be released.

Super Mario World, F-Zero, Pilotwings were all great.  Mario World was the reason for a early upgrade.

I didn't play Mario 64 till after I played Zelda 64.  N64 was bought for Zelda in 3D.

I still don't own Luigi's Mansion and haven't even played it.  GC bought mainly to try Metroid Prime and Wind Waker.

Didn't buy Twilight Princess on the Wii but on the Gamecube.  And didn't buy a Wii till Skyward Sword had a release date.

I bought New Super Mario Bros U on a deep discount a year before I owned a Wii U.

But I still voted Wii in the end because a new console Zelda at launch is hard to beat.

SNES.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
