Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Reggie thinks Wii U will have a strong Holiday performance, says they have games coming to the system.

I'll probably flip if they release another amiibo game. I'm sure they're just keeping it hidden to troll us during Christmas 2016

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Well maybe to get people to buy Federation Force an dnot wait for the HD Prime.

But most people with a 3DS don't have a Wii U to wait for HD Prime with, and not bringing Federation Force to E3 isn't a good way to get people to buy it.

It was cycycychris that described it as "transitioning". Reggie just said "in 2017 we'll look forward to the NX". That doesn't mean Wii U will be forgotten, just that it won't be their headline system, anymore.

Its me thats describing it as transition, its very well Reggie himself from that exact quate provided. "What we’re focused on is making sure we have an effective transition from the Wii U, we’re going to have a strong holiday performance, we’ve got games coming for the system and then next year we’ll look forward to the NX.”

Context is everything. He didn't describe next year as "transitioning to the NX". That's the part you claimed. He said that there would be a transition - of course there will be. No time frame was given for the transition.

=.=

Give us some good new games, and maybe

It also makes sense to show Metriod HD in AUguest since thats the month the first Metriod game came out.

Are you implying the transition could come sometime after NX releases?

It's good to hope and and have faith, but to do so for extremely unlikely scenarios is only gonna cause much disappointment.
