Can you imagine a world without land? Resources? Opinions? It won't make a difference other than what they base their decision on. Hitler after all sought power and ethnic cleansing and wasn't really a practicing Christian. Hate was his downfall and it was rooted in racism and a lust for power. Was Chairman Mao a religious zealot? Stalin? Evil is a part of human nature regardless of whatever label is placed upon the reason for acting.

How about we imagine a world of free people and not totalitarian, socialist governments that took around 200+ million people off the face of the Earth in the 20th century. Religion had little if anything to do with those atrocities.

Laws and rules would have had a weird story then. Whenever humans were aware of who and where they are, without religion, it would be chaos. Maybe we would've gone extinct long ago.

Like, seriously, religion makes up our history much more than any of us could think. I highly doubt we would be better off without religion.

Or I'm subestimating our species. Who knows.

It would be pretty much the same. Some people would find something else to fuel their hate. And some people really depend on religion to be "good".

What does socialism have to do with this? I live in a socialist country. We currently have one of the highest living standards in the world, and are at the top of the international Human Development Index.

Nothing would exist without a creator, because something can't come from nothing. Believing God exists and created something is infinitely more plausible than nothing spontaneously producing something. So, if there was no religion, and therefore no God, then there wouldn't be an Earth to compare to this Earth, nullifying the question altogether.

Then your god is created because it couldn't come out of nothing.

I'm not sure if the world would be a better or worse plase to live, but I'm sure about one thing,A lot of games out there are based on Relegion, so if the world don't had a single religion we would lost a lot of Legends and a lot of games would not exist, like God of War, Persona, etc.

Romans with nuclear weapons, mongols with predator drones, vikings with submarines. Truly wonderful.

Hate will stay,violence will stay,we will still have wars because it's in the human nature.
