I really really love this new  gameplay mechanic, here's a cool explanation.

I hope we get a Hylian shield that is indestructible or easy to repair. I also heard you can surf like Static shock while standing on a magnetic plate and using the magnesis ability but I may be wrong.

I wonder what would happen if someone were to do that irl. Would be cool to see!

Does anyone else get "Be Cool Be Wild Be Groovy" from Sonic Adventure 1 in their heads when they see this? :p

I think of the chocobo theme from FFVII.

Of all the awesome little touches in Breath of the Wild, shield surfing is one of my favourite, especially the ability to "do a Legolas" and fire arrows while doing so.

Also, LMAO at 1:21 when he drop-kicks the Skeleton Bokogoblin's still moving head into the river. Freaking amazing. XD

One of the many details and fun mechanics that will make this game really special
