That's not how it works. There's no pre-caching just algorithms. Everything is being created on the fly and once it's out of site it no longer exists. You might be able to extend those algorithms on a powerful PC but you'd still see the maths working in the distance.

Again, the technology isn't set up to cache anything. It's got nothing to do with PC indifference, it's the tech behind the game. Pop in is seeing an asset suddenly appear, this game builds the assets from maths and what you're seeing is those maths at work.

Dude, I will now say the key words for a 3rd time.

Precalculating. Precaching.

The game has a FIXED set of calculations. For all intents and purposes this whole game could be precalculated and rendered without any streaming of assets. Of course that's not possible because that amount of RAM does not exist on this world. But do you know what does exist in this world? Enough RAM to store content of a certain radius of area you're currently in. That's why clever people use algorithms to calculate content before you get there. This is possible with any game including this one.

The maths are FIXED, meaning at every coordinate in the universe you will get the exact same result every time. That's why it's easy to calculate the content that is about to be rendered BEFOREHAND.

The PS4 can't do this because it's a piece of shit that can't handle to do these additional calculations in the background. That's why it has terrible pop-ins. That's why it is forced to render everything in real time instead of precalculating and caching the content. It does NOT do it because it's impossible to precalculate!

On PC however we do have additional power to do these calculations beforehand. That's why I said that if this is not the case and even on PC the game renders everything in real time then the devs are either incompetent or indifferent, none of which is good.

Every game is based on math. The only difference with this one is that it also uses math to create content. That doesn't mean it's unpredictable. On the contrary, that makes it even easier to do every content creation in advance. And if you say one more time that it's not possible to determine beforehand what 1+x is when X is a known variable I'm gonna scream.
