Opinion: I AGREE!

Couldn't this op just been posted in the original "Opinion" thread of Gears and Scalebound? Or did the Op just felt hurt by that thread and wanted the spot light on his thread instead?

Anyways, imo Gears looks good and I'll eventually get it on Win 10 when it goes on sale. Scalebound however looks horrible and will most likely flop. We've seen this before with the Xbox audience. The forums and the sales numbers represent 2 very different opinions regarding Japanese games from them.

Edit: Nevermind I got my answer as before the op made this thread, he commented in the original article generalizing the responses and most likely felt hurt.

I don't want to pick out this thread specifically but these "Opinion" threads and "reaction to another thread" threads needs to stop. Seriously where does this get us?

If you and the anti-gears thread that you reacted to really want to encourage a serious discussion about Gears and Scalebound this isn't the way to go about it.

I'm getting tired of these "opinion" threads that are either negative to cause trouble or a reaction thread being OTT positive to compensate for the negative thread.

Let's start writing threads that encourage opinions in a good way and accommodate different views instead of rubbing people up the wrong way.

GoW looks as good as always, Scalebaound remains interesting.

I will pick up gears 4 day one.
I was excited for Scalebound initially, but my feelings have changed. I agree that game graphically, looks amazing. But the combat system they're showing, does not appeal to me. Also, my biggest complaint with the game was the main character. Im not digging the story about him coming into some alt. universe, hence why he's different. It reminds me of that awful movie The Forbidden Kingdom. Was excited for Jackie Chan, and Jet Li. but that plot about some american teenager that travels back in time to ancient China completely ruined it for me. I can't believe this was Kamiya's original script idea.
But I have become more interested in Sea of Thieves with every showing. Keep hearing great things about it too. Hopefully it has a character creator, So I can make the Pirate captain.

I want to see healthy and civil debate. I don't want to see console partisans fire slings and arrows at each other.

Gears 4 does look amazing but again I don't have an opinion on Scalebound.

Both look great. Day One's for sure.
