Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Opinion: Gears 4 and Scalebound look amazing.

Lets start with Gears 4, Game enviroments seem to play a major role in enemy play and story progression. The look and feel of the levels shown are intricate and show massive promise.. New enemies accompany the battle field with top notch graphics and new game play.  The story twister ending with Marcus Pheonix just adds to anticipation.  Gears has always brought serious online gameplay with a unigue 3rd party play style. Rich / challenging enviroments and very addictive.

Scalebound looks to be an exciting online Co-op with a mystical world to explore with your friends...  Not only does it look fun, it's new concepts, gameplay and beasts add to the growing need for a new AAA JRPG game to hit the mark. The games open enviroments are impressive, it's gameplay looks intense and growing interest looks to hit that mark. You will be able to choose different players, beasts, all accompanied by different skill sets, moves and battle schemes.

As an actually Xbox One owner that plans to play these games day one, I couldn't be happier with what I saw.  I plan on Pre-ordering a Gear of War 4 Xbox One S as we all know they are making one.  I also hope they release a Limited Edition Scale Bound with a bad A$$ dragon to display in my gamer room.

Both these games looks Very Impressive.

The game environments look awesome, as do the graphics and as always a shit load of Gore..

I agree Gears looks really good, borderline amazing.

Scalebound the combat looks messy imo. Not a fan of the cutscene and the cheesy main characters lines.
Though I can see the co-op multiplayer online thing being kinda fun, takeing on some of those bigger bosses.
I dont think it ll be nearly as fun to play single player mode. Also think this game is way over hyped.

This reads more like an advertisement than an opinion. Did you write all this yourself?

also my opinion: scale bound looks like crap but gears looks as good as ever. I'm more curious about Sea of Thieves though

yes I wrote this my self. I feel that these specific area's are what makes the game interesting with out going off on a 20 minute rant about every aspect of said game.  Scalebound has gained massive hype since E3 of 2015, hence why they pushed back it's release date until 2017. The game looks truly amazing with 4 player co-op. I can't wait for either.  We have had a lack of JRPG's unless you count Elder Scrolls etc, which I love those games but I want something closer to Final Fantasy but with better gameplay. The dragons open up a whole new dimension and I think they nailed it.

Opinion - Scalebound looks extremely mediocre and boring.

Gears, I guess. Scalebound on the other looks like a mess gameplaywise.

Glad to hear more people phaze Gears 4 and Scalebound for there visuals. There definitely great looking games.

I am tired of all the gore...

Gears looks great, agreed, Scalebound looks like The Last Guardian collided with Final Fantasy and with everything in real-time, not my cup of tea, to say the least and easily the least exciting trailer from the MS show this year.
Sea of Thieves is the most interesting trailer they had for me, it's actually the most interesting one for quite some time from anyone, looks like great fun!
