I understand, but i also agree. The pricing is excessive. They are taking advantage. It's a game that has been out for a while now.
I guess we can always trade in the old version. Unless you bought digital... at wich point i laugh. :p

So according to your logic, Sony and Rockstar should've thrown in copies of games like The Last Of Us and GTAV Remastered on PS4 for gamers who already bought the games when they first came out on PS3 instead of charging $50 for them, right?

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
I didn't care for Skyrim last gen so I definitely won't be buying it this time around. Especially at 60 bucks, I can buy a whole brand new experience with a different game for that price (heck even multiple games)

Well, perhaps they thought that PC gamers are easily pissed off to risk selling the same game for full price twice, while console gamers will happily shell out 60 bucks without bothering to ask any complicated questions. |
It is true that console gamers are generally better off so $60 isn't a big deal.
PC gamers already had the Remaster for years and for free via mods. So they don't have to pay for it because they already own the remaster. It wouldn't make sense to charge for it because nobody would buy it. Console gamers however are getting content they didn't have before. Why wouldn't you have to pay for something that a developer had to put work into?
Do you also want the Neo for free because you already had a PS4 and Neo is just an upgrade?
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
I really liked the game but........
Reeeaaaalllllly hard to justify a $80 price tag for a remaster of a 5 year old game. This fall is going to be stellar enough anyway
Lol. The response to this is hilarious.
This is why I don't care for PC gaming at all anymore. The community is toxic and elitist.
Console gaming is where it's at anyway and always has been.
$60? Really that seems a bit much. And can you transfer your characters from the old game over?
Maybe because you're not paying based on what Plato would deem to be fair.
You're paying based on what cost them time and money to make. Retexturing the entire game will have been a massive workload. And given that it's very unlikely it'll sell as well as the original, they probably needed to charge a lot to make it worth it.
I don't see the problem. I'm gonna wait about 6 months and get it half the original price.
