Forums - Nintendo Discussion - We buy their HW because...

I fail to see how this is the case. Could you elaborate on that?

I agree 100% with the OP

Found a PC gamer. I've noticed this is a new growing sentiment, this "anti-consumer" mindset. Fact of the matter is they sell hardware, and they need to convince you to buy it.

yeah.... except the lack of growth on their part will have me buying the console 3-4 years later because i won't see the value or money justification and, if that idea becomes widespread, it will affect their bottom line. I don't care about resolutions, but i do care about a game library and industry standard social interactions. The wii-u has the worst gaming library in nintendo console history. There were 0 3rd party exclusives i was interested in and that's a 1st for me. I love me some zelda, smash, kart, fox, pikmin and metroid, but i'm not buying a console at full price for like 10 games. I'm not saying they have to compete with scorpio or neo, but they do have to find a way to bolster their future library. Also, i like playing with friends. No chat support is kind of a deal breaker nowadays. Also, the online HAS to get better; mainly with smash bros. If they can at least show they are trying to improve these areas then the console is a day one for me and has my full support and my positive wor d of mouth.

Because we love their games.

I'm still waiting to hear who exactly has to "deal with it." This just seems like you're baiting/attacking someone with your aggressive wording and lack of purpose otherwise.

I fail to see the point of this thread...Of course Nintendo fans buy their hardware for Nintendo games. They (and I don't mean to sound overly critical here) don't really have anything else to offer consumers.

Also, are you going to tell me that you would like Nintendo LESS if they offered more of the features/variety that the other console makers do?

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

This new generation of gamers only care about the popularity of a product, not the quality. Damn i miss the 80s and 90s.

Yeah? I think I get the point you're trying to make...but do you have anything to support this claim at all? Like...and example? Or...evidence? Or something?
