Forums - Nintendo Discussion - We buy their HW because...

We like to play their fking games. It's that simple. It's not rocket science.

We are not attached to high specs

We are not attached to voice chat

We are not attached to game achievements

We are not attached to their comercial success

If there's a game from the competition that has superior resolution, use voice chat and sells better, what we do? we don't care (unless the game has an interesting concept, then it has our attention)

Deal with it.

"U" of course ;)

[Ever Since Yamauchi left] It's unpredictable. I like a good surprise.

Their 1st party games are second to none...if they really try.

I don't like gun violence? :|

Agreed. Nintendo could release any new hardware and I'd buy it because I love their games.

I don't like FPS with military approach, they are extremely boring. Oh! And Sports and racing sims

Tell that to those who don't want Nintendo to go 3rd party. If liking their games is your only reason then you shouldn't care whether they're 3rd party or not because the games will still be there...

Really the same could be said for the other two as well.

I don't usually like them either. The only exception being Metal Gear. Metal Gear is much different than your typical war shooter.

Depends. I have reasons for buying PS/Xbox consoles other than games, but if Nintendo fans (or at least this one) doesn't...

Games are what they are, the budget issue can be solved by other publishers or parties that have more money within the industry as well as customers backing.

I have no reason to buy either of those other two systems tbh, whatever reasons there are are amounted to them being made by a PC for a lower spec hw that is very much trying to be a PC.

It's odd to want one to go 3rd but not the rest, if you have no attachment to one them free any from the others or none at all.

Its the last bastion for family gaming in the console space. Nintendo and Nintendo consoles is pretty much the last place where they can go to get entertainment for the whole family. And unless you want the future gamers of the world raised on zombie violence and shotguns to the face then you will go Nintendo too.
