Forums - General Discussion - Chinese bank employees spanked for low performance

CHANGZHI: The president of Changzhi Rural Commercial Bank has reportedly been suspended for "failing to conduct proper checks on the training programme" after a video of the bank's employees being spanked made the rounds on social media and touched off criticism online.

According to Chinese media reports, the video - which shows a motivational trainer apparently spanking employees with a plank on stage - was uploaded onto Chinese social media platforms on Sunday (Jun 19) and immediately caught the attention of netizens.

Looks like China still has trouble understanding human rights. This is so backwards.

Edit: Reported so that a mod can move it to general.

Can't help but LOL at this. Children can be spanked if absolutely necessary but not adults.

Alright, I get that different places have different cultures and whatnot. But what the fuck?

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Better spanked than getting fired. Just saying.

How can I apply to that bank?
