Alright, I watched the first episode and thought it was meh. Perhaps it simply wasn't my cup of tea.

 

However, after skimming through the show, I realized it was essentially the same thing. Fighting monsters and boobs. Perhaps there's something I'm overlooking, but isn't this show supposed to be popular?

Yea idk what most people like about it... Maybe its popular cause a lot of people hate it but whatever the reason... Its eh in my case.

Its simple and has a easy to follow story, which the majority of casual anime watchers tend to enjoy.

wait...there's more than 10 anime in the world? I mean Dragonball, Naruto, Kill la Kill, FMA Brotherhood, Hellsing Ultimate, Death Note, and...yeah I need to try out more anime (and I haven't watched half of those just have them on my watchlist lol)

Some people say it's evangelion, funny enough it's the best anime ever for me, no other comes even close.

I don't understand the hate for popular animes and that especially goes for SAO when most of the accusations against it can be used against their own favourite anime series most of the time that also happens to be at least semipopular ...

I'm not going to subscribe to the shitty ass political elitism nor the game platform elitism and the same goes for the anime elitism too cause I don't have time to be calling out other people for having shite taste much like many others here are already doing on these boards ...

IMO, the worst anime for me would be Higurashi Kira and School Days ...

As for Boku no Pico, let them have fun with it if there are any to begin with since hating on it for it's principles is a waste of precious time ...
