Oh boy, that's a lot!

Will tag now and return with thoughts!

Tag. Gonna watch the dead rising videos

"If you like Dead Rising, You'll Love what's on Offer Here".

Hah, I wish. Everything I read upon this game makes me feel how butchered this series keep getting, not unlike those thousands of ways you can slash mobs of zombies down. Younger Frank that doesn't resemble much the original one (and the voice actor gone), back to Willamette in the future for some reason, no time limit, too much emphasize on those exo-suits that limit your weaponry (One would hope you can level up and forego them forever).

Then there's probably all the issues that plagued the third game. Lack of challenge overall because everything's fed to the player. Will the lockers that allow you to infinitely spawn the strongest weapon in the game come back? Will the enviroment be used in a clever, stock yourself up kind of way, or we'll go back to the "get an item once and you'll have it forever"? Resource management has progressively sit down to allow the player make crazy stupid combos on the spot and keep killing mindlessly. After the lack of understandment of Capcom Vancouver about what made the story great in the previous games, I'm confident they don't know what direction to take anymore, so prepare for some lazy, bad writing. Would surprise me if they somehow manage not to fall on this category.

The only good thing so far is, ironically, Willamette, which they'll abuse the heck out of the market and will bring nostalgia kids like me back. At least it can't be as bad as Los Perdidos City, really.

It's great seeing those games with positive reception(as for Gears 4 we will see how it goes), X1 will have a good holiday

Horizon 3 will be my first Forza game this gen. It seems like the closest we will get to a Motorstorm 4. Looks amazing.

Very pleased to see people enjoying Sea of Thieves, there was genuine concern there considering what Rareware has put out lately.

And ReCore, too. Any time that game was brought up it was instantly pooped on as likely some irrelevant downloadable game that wouldn't be any good, great to see its apparently quite good.

DR4 is a no brainer. DR3 was great.

I thought Gears looked good but its coming at the end of this year? Between Titanfall 2 and Horizon I'll probably pass on Gears for awhile. Maybe finally tackle these games in my backlog like Halo 5 and Quantum Break.

Forza Horizon is a big name now. I wonder how will it be received by PC gamers, I hope it succeeds.

Forza Horizon 3 was the best game at Microsoft's conference. I really enjoyed Forza Horizon on 360, and hope Microsoft ports Forza Horizon 2 to PC. I like to play a game before its sequel and I've heard that Playground Games improved a lot more in Forza Horizon 2.

Recore looked very good. Another one of their games I'm looking forward too.

Gears 4 is Gears. I would have liked some changes to the characterisation but still the gameplay looks fun as ever. Its definitely the best TPS series out there.

Scalebound and Sea of Thieves look meh. I like AC4's take on pirates better.

DR4 is not my thing.

What's the reason you picked only positive quotes and links? It's great for hyping people up, but the thread title made me expect all the raw impressions both good and bad.

Lots of games over the next year plus that I want. Damn.
