Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE reviews [82 on Metacritic]

Just started it. Have to say there are a surprisingly amount of loading screens. Regardless first dungeon is done and the combat looks like it'll be very fun.

Sigh.......... Why is there always have to be a salty person in every positive news threads.........

Pocky Lover Boy!

Good to hear that it's getting good ratings. I don't know if I'll get the game, though.

The number of people I have seen on Metacritic who openly admit they haven't played the game and are giving out unrepresentative, lying scores regardless is pathetic.  Grow up people.

Oh and the one guy who said in his review that if you like Awakening or Fates, you're not a real Fire Emblem fan, to whom I say  get lost you pretentious, self-absorbed, elitist prat.

Good to see the actual reception is largely very postive.  From everything I've seen, it's not my jam but it look slike a very well made game with a great turn based system and some really nice visual design.

Yeah, that's pathetic. You can't possibly rate a game if you haven't even tried it. And you can't give a game a zero because of censorship. One thing is to be critical about it (though I don't really mind about it tbh), and another is giving it a zero because of that. It's ridiculous

Game is pretty good imo. I'm 10 hours in, and I'm really, really enjoying it. It might be one of my favourite WiiU games, if the game doesn't run out of steam. The combat system is really fun, the characters are very likeable and the story is entertaining. I'd say it's like a more light-hearted Persona game.

Eh, maybe I'll still give this game a shot after a price drop or sale. It's still quite the turn-off visually and thematically, but if the substance is really good then it can't be ignored for such reasons.

i m 7 hours into this game n i love it

sry for my bad english - it is not my 1st language

Well, Polygon's no longer the highest scorer; Digitally Downloaded gave it a perfect 5 stars, calling it the "best game on Wii U":

Seems like everybody loves it, a big sucess on that regard independently of sales. I can't get it right now but I really want to play it, I'm all in for good combat systems, colorful graphics and super catchy music.

Well, I have only read praise or acceptance for this game from actual real players. I may get it someday, even if looks too Japan for my taste, but something good it's just good, I guess; something that doesn't happen regularly with the Wii U these days.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

People really do get silly about their favorite things.  Makes you wonder, if those new fans hadn't picked up Awakening, what tune these sillies would be singing after FE died.
