I want a Metroid that is a 3D, 3rd person platform adventure game. One that takes inspiration from Super Metroid the same way that BotW is supposed to be taking inspiration from Zelda 1. Bring back the focus on platforming and the lack of guidance. (and the horror, too)

Oh man, that would be amazing! Part of the reason I love Subspace Emissary so much is because it did just that.

For the NX, a Metroid FPS with outsourced MP (if Nintendo can't do it properly), the potential is scary. So there's Splatoon, but now Nintendo needs a graduation product and a teen shooter like Metroid can fill that next step.

I want Nintendo to stop making their console primarily for their franchise in mind. It needs tech that can support third party games too.

More 3D Zelda, 3D Mario, Pikmin, Metroid, 3D Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong Racing 2, Splatoon..but what I relly want is something totaly new and fresh like Splatoon, still waiting to see on what Retro is working. :)

So why would you need two systems that play the same third-party games?

More games based on user generated content - like Mario Marker.
More co-op games like Triiforce heroes (but for the home console).
More action/adventure games like Zelda and Metroid.

Less Mario spin-offs.
Less party games.
Less 2D platform games in general (Mario and Donkey would be enough).
