People believe it cause thats exactly whats been happening, how do you go from selling 100mil consoles to the next one selling about 14mil?

That's such a false statement though because the WiiU is their lowest selling console, you said it's been happening as if this has happened more than once of a system selling this bad. Still the reality is that there's numbers in between that of the Wii and WiiU, do people go around considering the ps3 a failure because it didn't reach ps2 sales? No because it still sold exceedingly well in its own right! Even though the ps4 won't come close to ps2 sales it's not considered a failure either, Nintendo may never have another 100 million selling home console. But to think that there's nothing else in between for them to obtain is pretty naive...

N64 and GC didnt sell to hot either. and SNES sold less than the original NES. so no its a true statement. Sure they didnt sell Wii U bad, but very few consoles did anyway, especially ones coming from the big 3. Some people do consider PS3 a failure so there you go. Show me a console where they had someting between them. When was the last time Ninty had a home console sell 50mil plus?

So long as they keep putting out quality games I will continue supporting. I don't need them to have a specific install base to buy their system.

You're going to find this ridiculous, but I used parental controls on my router to limit the time I spent gaming.

If the U held a connection to the wifi broadcast, and it went down because it entered a no-connection time period, I would have to reboot the U or reset the Wifi settings to be able to jump back onto the network.

It sounds more like self induced heartache.  Sure the loading times are slow for loading settings (got better over time) but shouldn't you have grown accustomed to checking the WiFi status on the gamepad before launching Smash after a few times of noticing it dropping your connection?  I believe in the top left of the gamepad you can tell if you system is connected at menu screen (not sure if you can tell if you quick launch a game though).

Not really, because waking up the next day after sleeping only 2 hours because I played smash or mario kart all night wasn't really fun either.

Also, sure I got used to it after 2-3 times, but here and there after having not played for a while, I would forget. In 2016, you should be able to manage wifi on the fly while in game.

Funny thing is that on the original 3DS (could just flick the switch) and New 3DS (just have to hit home button and then go to the top left button for wifi settings) you can switch the wifi on and off while the game is running.

I have already abandoned Nintendo. I will never buy a console from these liars, thieves and untalented developers again.

laugh out loud.

So long as Nintendo is producing fun games, I don't much care how well it sells. Obviously they may feel they need to leave the market so I wish them success, but my opinion of them doesn't change based on their popularity.

I can understand calling them liars and thieves, but I don't think their developers are untalented as you call them. Nintendo still makes good games (although there are several from last year that are bad).

Animal Crossing amiibo Festival, Chibi-Robo Zip Lash, Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, Hyrule Warriors Legends, Twilight Princess HD, Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Federation Force, Color Splash, Star Fox Zero, Mario vs. Donkey Kong ...

Nintendo's developers have lost their talent.

A few bad games doesn't mean that Nintendo has lost their talent.
