Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Misleading Xbox One Slim image on Amazon

I just noticed this image on Amazon used to advertise the Xbox Slim.

Actual size difference

That's ... interesting. I wonder who is responsible for that? The length is especially egregious.

Maybe they mean "with Kinect sitting on top of it." That would be bad but also kind of funny.

Disgusting.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

It's most likely computer calculation vs. human calculation. Somebody's wrong. I'm thinking the computer image is a scaled representation of the One S vs. the Original, and the real life image is obviously the real thing. Maybe it's only, 25-30% smaller.

Aaaah, they're adding the power brick, aren't they?

Ahaha, sneaky.

Maybe the design team doesn't know fractions and they just made it 40% of the X1.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

The first image comes from the Microsfot E3 conference doesn't it?

Xbox.com image

This is actually pretty crappy, now that I think about it.

Looks like the misleading picture has the XB1s 40% smaller in each dimension (length, width and height)

The 2nd image doesn't show a clear picture. Should have been taken looking down at the consoles not looking straight at the consoles.

Edit- Here are some comparisons
