Here is a petition for RE5 to come to the Nintendo Wii. Sign it and make your voice heard. According to GoNintendo.com Capcom has acknowledged their enthusiasm for the petition and have been watching it closely.

Clarifications:

- This petition does not advocate this game only being on the Wii.

- Saying "I don't want a gimped version of this game" holds little water when you can just buy it for either the 360 or PS3. Just sayin'...

- Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles =/= Resident Evil 5. I know, shocking, at first you might have thought they were a fair trade off in exclusivity, but to your surprise I must inform you that they are not. So in advance thanks for sparing us the, "oh you already have RE:UC, don't be so greedy" arguments.

- Petition haters are thanked in advance for bumping the thread.

Maybe Capcom will listen. But probably not. People who want it should just buy a PS3 or 360.

Hmm a hopeful effort, and because I doubt the PC version will be any good, I have signed it and i hope for some divine retribution aganst a certain " Just by looking at that, its not coming to the Wii" person, not out of hate or spite or anger. Just an I told you so * grinning face *

Just buy the console it's on if you really want. If you want the game this bad, why didn't you buy a platform with this on it instead of the Wii? It makes no sense to me...

I'd as soon just wait for it to come out on PC so I don't have to waste money on a console I don't want or just patiently wait for a next gen port to Nintendo's successor console if that's the case.

This game is desired for the Wii largely on principle, not passion. We know its most likely going to be inferior to RE4 which the Wii already has, however many Wii owners feel a sense of ownership of the franchise as Nintendo has nearly the entire RE library on its respective consoles and many Resident Evil fans don't want to have to jump ship a third time just to buy the latest game. In addition, everyone who has ever played RE4 can agree that the controls for it are a must on the Wii. An RE5 not released on the Wii, is an RE5 less a game... At least, that is our argument and grounds for this petition.

you mean ownage to a series that started on PS1???
