I'm not sure if Will Smith has the same pull that he did back when ID4 was released. The only film I can just about stand him in its MiB.

Tbh if they had Will Smith they'd make that back easy, Without him? I doubt it.

Actually, why isn't he in this film? Don't tell me he turned it down for a supporting role in Suicide Squad...

He was filming Squad during ID4 2's filming. There was no way around it.

I remember when this movie was sitting VERY low on IMDB at one point. Now its on 6.9. Good to see some sort of appreciation over the years. 

I know it's weird, but I think Jayden Smith has put people off Will Smith too. I know I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Nostalgia? I didn't even think the first movie was any good.
