Geez man.. the new movie is finished shooting right? i hope that the promote him offscreen and has a wife and kids and life happily ever after... 

Yeah.... I don't think they'd kill Chekov off, either they'd get a new actor to play the character or they'd end the film series... I just can't imagine his dissapearance just being explained away with a line of dialogue or being killed offscreen. Maybe they'd move on to "The Next Generation".

That's a shitty way to go to be honest. He was a good actor. It's a shame he's no longer with us. I really liked Odd Thomas. Got me interested in the books.

He was one of my fave characters from the new ST movies too :L if not my fave characters. It's a shame, really... RIP

I saw something similar happening to my neighbour once but nothing really bad happened to him luckily. He was going to open the garage door and his car rolled against him and pushed him against that door and we had to help him since he couldn't get out from alone.

It was very slow because his driveway is pretty even but I guess if a car stands on a steep ground something like this can happen.
