I would play UC4 if it was on a console I already owned. I'll admit that upfront.

I'm not sure if I'd say amazing, but I'm interested in what Scalebound is doing. I guess people want a DMC/Bayonetta clone?

Watching a game like Gears 4 is never much fun. I just like playing it and the beta was no exception.

Okay then, so maybe your lack of interest in UC4 has more to do with the platform than the game itself.

Not 100% sure if this is serious or not, but if it is, he never said that Uncharted 4 was bad, or that it wasn't worth playing. He never even said he wasn't interested in it; he just said that its gameplay looked very similar to the original Uncharted.

Yes seems if all you play is Playstation I'm sure it doesn't look appealing.

I don't understand both look amzing, Gears 4 is the same awesome game with other 4 Gears and scalebound is a guy with sword to fight giant creatures with classic humor and if he want to fight seriously he wearing those headphones with that ungly music that noone ask for. Exactly! It's really a game you need to play to feel it, preferably co-op with a friend, crank up the difficulty and enjoy the ride. It's 3rd person mechanics are still second to none imo.

the gameplay and platforming feel largely the same, but there are a lot of improvements in the gameplay than previous titles. they added more layers to gameplay, level desgin, physics, AI, new melee system, Stealth and new features like the rope that just all add to the gameplay experience.

- stealth. the stealth is greatly improved in UC4 over UC3, and due to the larger and more complicated levels, transition between stealth and action is pretty seamless. its pretty much the best way to complete an encounter. stealth for as long as possible, then when you are caught, fight then try to break the line of sight and ambush them when the time is right.

- Larger levels with more veriticality and space. the level desgin is top notch, and approaching each encounter will never be the same, due to how big the levels are and how enemies react in it. they created huge playgournds for the player to fight in, that include a variety of stealth, platforming, grappling, sliding, destructible cover, swiming area's (that can be used for stealth in a great way). 

- AI. the AI, specially on Hard mode is a bitch. those bastards are tough, and they try to flank you and use their great numbers to their advantage. if you stay still you are doomed, because they will surround you. they force you to stay on the move, which helps other aspects of the gameplay kick in, like stealth, larger level desgin, platforming, the grapling hook and melee. 

- Friendly AI, Uncharted always had friendly AI, but in UC4 they really are the best and most useful. 

- More dynamic set peices are there as well, the jeep chase is the biggest example. 

sure the cover mechanices feel the same as UC2/UC3 to a large degree, but UC4 does a lot more and adds a lot of features to add a lot of layers to the gameplay. 

I'm not sure why Uncharted is being discussed here but we have seen similar improvements and added features throughout Gears series. I'm sure there will be improvements in Gears4 also. But there's only so much you can do without messing up the core gameplay and feel of Gears, Judgment tried to add more verticality and it didn't sit right for example.

Stealth in Gears of War? Hell no, but maybe they add something else.
