Forums - Nintendo Discussion - To the Wii u owners who thought zelda was enough for E3...

Really though support for the WiiU this year is absolutely abysmal, Nintendo should be ashamed of themselves.

In all fairness they started the beginning of the year fairly strong with first party content.

Yoshi, Zelda HD, Pokken and Star Fox all within the first 4 months. Not saying that's enough but if they had to keep that pace up it would have been decent.

Now the rest of 2016.......

Edit: After seeing midranges comments on this I feel the need to clarify that I'm by no means implying that people with a lot of time on their hands for gaming have no live. If anything I'm sort of envious and want to know the secret to managing your time better! :P

Yeah, I thought something along these lines, as I read midranges comment. I too wish I had more time.

Also to the people saying, that a life and games are compatible: I have no problem with life (and no life), it is fucking work that steals my time. What is a job good for? Oh well, the money to pay for my games.

Me?
I'm still finishing Lone Survivor (i think that's the name) and The Swapper for Wii U. Loving the Swapper!

Me too, one of the best Wii U games of 2014 in my opinion. Fantastic atmosphere, visual design, puzzles, and story.

The atmosphere is really something!
I can't say i'm a big fan of puzzles, but i'm really liking to solve them.

Glad that this was cut in price. Would have probably missed this pearl.

I'm pissed with Nintendo this year, but sadly I can't live without Ninty games.

Simple answer; emulation. There's tons of great Nintendo games from past generations available through emulation. And if you'd rather not, you can get the original hardware and games. There are ways to scratch the Nintendo itch without supporting their current behaviour.

I know, but I can fairly say that I've played almost every Nintendo game I wanted to play. Except for maybe Zelda: Oracle games... So that's a problem. I'm playing PC games for this gen (currently playing The Witcher games). But... I don't know, it's just not the same. Nintendo provides me a different experience that I couldn't find in other games, tbh. And its current behavious is really shitty, I know, and that's what I don't like.

What do you plan on doing for the rest of 2016?

Since no third party games were announced and zelda is coming in 2017, what is there left for 2016? At least ps4 players, xbox one players, and pc players have many third party games that will be padding out the year (along with some first party games like the last gaurdian). How can one game that won't come out this year be considered a successful E3 for Nintendo when nothing else was shown for the wii u for this year?

Wii U is quite dead for me. Zelda is the last game.

I'll be playing other consoles.

God bless You.

My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+

When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019

There were three ravens sat on a tree / They were as blacke as they might be / The one of them said to his mate, Where shall we our breakfast take?

I really feel bad for Wii U owners who don't get much replay value from the console. Granted, I play on PC as well, I would still be able to find something to play on it regardless of release timing. In fact, I still have a couple of games I need to pick up for it.

Feel free to check out my stream on twitch

The backlog of Nintendo games makes everything Sony and Microsoft have ever done and ever will do a joke. Lol no offense, so I'll have plenty to do. That being said, the NX launch is gonna be amazeballs by Nintendo standards based on Wii u drought so I'll be saving money to spend it all in March.
