that makes no sense. If moving down stairs or ladders can't you still move your head and look around?

Sure you can, but the damn thing detaches from the character's model neck and almost flies away, revealing everything down there, and on the process, the character's flying arms grabbed to the stairs.

Precisely because I've played it, it isn't as effective when you have the option to just stray away from the interaction with the enviroment. Like when he's going down the stairs and he has full view on everything, when you're supposed to not know until you land your feet on the ground. They should find a way to limit it, otherwise VR could allow for some "cheating" on horror games.

Anyways, what I liked was when he was peeping through the crack in the door and around the door at the first room. Then when the dude told him to go down the ladder and he just kept looking at the guy and the hole in the ground. That totally sold all this for me. Its exactly what I would have done in that situation.

They should add a refuse option.

Yep, the peeping (with tilting the head) I don't remember any game where you would control the camera with this extra axis (perhaps using the sixaxis function).

But yes the floating arms (on the ladder) and no hand when you handle the fridge needs to be worked on.

VR should be the default peripheral for any first person horror game.

This.

Though, Until Dawn still managed to make up for a pretty surprising game at some moments. With VR, it's only going to be first person view. I still want some third person horror games.

Anyway, if only Silent Hills weren't cancelled god dammit.

They may make it third person omniscent vision, let's see how well it'll look.

so with the head tracking, is it basically the right stick. how does it work exactly. to look right, you turn your head, but, do you have to continually look right, because if you straighten out your neck and head, you will look back forward.

i can see it working really well, sitting in an office chair that spins 360.

also is the  VR natually 3D?

There have been some reports of motion sickness with re7. concern trolls think its the fps and headset/ps4 but its not. its the movement of the game witch doesnt add up to what your doing irl witch causes dissonance.

it seems to vary from person to person though. most dont have have any issues.

People seem to like the PSVR. I'm getting more and more interested, it has an interesting price, and a few interesting games.

But the PS4Neo tho...

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

I thought it looked (and played) amazing. I'm a long-time RE fan, but after RE6 I'm happy with any NEW direction the series takes.
