I think MS did quite a good job bro bring new IPs to the market.

- Ryse
- Sunset Overdrive
- Quantum Break
- Cuphead
- ReCore
- Sea of Thieves
- Scalebound
- Below
- Inside
- We happy few
- Titanfall
- Project Spark

Still fans of other consoles make it sound like "all they have is Halo, gears and Forza" which is pure trolling but accepted by VGC.

I don't think Sony fans are denying MS from creating or supporting new IPs, it's just that in comparison they are weak. Don't want to start a list war, but since you have included Indie, just look at the new IPs on PS4:

The Order

Bloodborne

Until Dawn

Drive Club

Nier Automata

Ni-Oh

Dreams

Resogun

Alienation

Days Gone

No Man's Sky

TLG

This doesn't include any of the harcore jrpgs, new IPs within established franchises, many other indies or VR games.

Nier is not a new IP.
No Man's Sky is possibly coming to Xbox One as well.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

And Dead Rising 4 is coming to PS4...

I personally dont care if someone is first or second party, I think we can agree that that's all good especially if the console manufacture owns the IP. I personally dont like people preventing games that will come out on a platform by 6/12 months though, personally thats more annoying.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Recore and Scalebound are first party now?

Cool more games on PC.

Because besides the spin to include 2nd party as 1st party games, a number of games hold no value if they aren't enticing their market.

Just let them be. We got our own stuff to look forward to

Sure thing man. This is why I asked if there was hype for these games to their fans, because for me they aren't relevant, I almost don't have enough time to play all the games i would like from PS.

2nd party is a thing? Which ones are getting spun as 1s party?

Yep, any game you own the IP, but use an external studio to develop is a 2nd party. Almost all on the list is 2nd party. And of course there are even games that the IP isn't owned, but exclusivity is bought, how is that 1st party?

Except, that is the ONLY way to have a productive conversation. When it comes down to stuff like this, it's all opinions, there is no real right answer. So you saying things like "Sony has a bad first party lineup" as a fact, that's just your opinion. So whose to say who right? You really can't, the closest thing you can say is what most people thought of them. And literally all the games you listed, most have enjoyed, including me.

Lol, the way you are talking about most of these games including Killzone 2, InFamous Second Son, MediaM, Uncharted 3, all games I've played, is as if they're the worst things ever, as if NO ONE enjoyed them, that's ridiculous.

Yes, that's true. But isn't that why we're here? To exchange information and opinions?

If we just go by Metacritic, Ocarina, Halo, Super Mario Galaxy, and Half-Life 2 are the best games. Period. And If we go by sales, something like Wii Sports or Minecraft is the best game. No debate.

How boring is that? Why even post?

Anyway, the offer still stands. I'm happy to debate the finer points of Uncharted, Killzone, Infamous, Tearaway, whatever. But I don't want my opinion to be invalidated by sales figures or Metascore.

So you would say it's acceptable to say Nintendo first party is garbage because one thinks platform are very silly and too rooted on the 80's? Or that Nintendo is shit because most of their games keep repeating the same characters? Because that would be personal opinion?

Because you asked others to say why those games were good on their opinion (not general consensus) without even saying why you think they are so bad.

Using the words shit and garbage is probably a mistake, as those tend to escalate conversations into fights. But, yeah, if you dislike platformers or Nintendo's design philosophy, feel free to make your voice heard. Just make sure to articulate your opinion in a respectful way and justify that opinion with evidence.

And I'd be happy to explain why I dislike some Sony games and like others. Which ones are you curious about?

Nope, shitty and garbage aren't my opinion about Nintendo games, I tend to like them, just not bother much with their HW during the gen, but play with friends.

About the games you listed, I didn't see any of them reasoned out why they are so bad that they put 1st party of sony in a bad situation.

OK, I can summarize my thoughts on Sony first-party games for you. That's a lot of games so just give me a little time to write everything down.

No problem man, I can wait. We will probably agree in some points and disagree in several of them

How does this always happen when a thread is made about Microsoft.
