Considering it already opened in a lot of overseas markets its kinda off to a slow start there since it only made $50 million overseas so far. In the end it will still probably make over a billion world wide slightly more then Zootopia but less then Captain America: Civil War.

I guess it depends on when the next family movie is this Summer.

The Summer and Fall 2016 lineup of animated family movies are:

Title Release date (US) Distribution Production
The Angry Birds Movie May 20, 2016 Sony Pictures Sony Pictures Animation
Finding Dory June 17, 2016 Walt Disney Pictures Pixar Animation Studios
The Secret Life of Pets July 8, 2016 Universal Pictures Illumination Entertainment
Ice Age: Collision Course July 22, 2016 20th Century Fox Blur Sky Studios
Storks September 23, 2016 Warner Bros. Pictures Warner Animation Group

In Summer 2017 the battle will be between:

The Lego Ninjago Movie (Warner Bros. Pictures)
Emojimovie: Express Yourself (Sony Pictures)
Cars 3 (Walt Disney Pictures)
Despicable Me 3 (Universal Pictures)
Ferdinand (20th Century Fox)

Easy win for DM3.

Yup.

And Disney can't afford to keep Disney Infinity going? What are they going to do with all this money?

Also good job Disney on another fantastic film.

It's OK movie, though not really up there with Pixar's best...then again, they've been (quality-wise) on downward slope for quite some time now.

Exactly XD. Except Brave and Cars movies, I think the rest of them were pretty good. And Brave is not that bad actually.

Yeah have to agree also.   Just like Minons it should make over a billion dollars DM2 came super close needed less then $30 million.  Illumination Entertaiment is a pretty good animation studio and they don't go overboard when it comes to production bugets either all of their movies so far had a production buget of $76 million dollars or less.

It was fine I guess...honestly (except for Toy Story 3) WALL-E marks for me the end of PIXAR's golden age (minus Cars)....not saying that movies that came after were bad, I liked most of them, but for me  they somehow lost their touch.
