Umihara Kawase (Super Famicom), now there's a PSP version
Guardian Heroes (Saturn)
Rolling Thunder and Shinobi (Arcade)
Tecmo Deception (PSOne)
Beyond Oasis/Legend of Oasis (Saturn/Genesis)
...

I thought I was the only person ever to see Legend of Oasis on the Saturn. Um, I got Brawl Brothers (SNES), Bangai-O (A Bootlegg Dreamcast game burned from somewhere), I'm not sure but Nightmare Creatures (DC), Vectorman, those X-Men games on the SNES/Genesis, Wrestlemania 2000/ WCW vs. NWO Revenge/ WWF No Mercy. I heard No Mercy might be redone on WiiWare. Toy Commander (DC), & Lion King (Genesis) There was this Saturn game where you throw CDs as a weapon or something but I forget what is called. One of my biggest favorites was Azure Dreams (PS1-1998). It was Final Fantasy meets Pokemon. I was hooked on it. Judge Dredd on the Genesis was a time-taker as well.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Herzog Zwei - A classic RTS game on the Sega Genesis, which was largely forgotten over the years as more advanced RTS games like WarCraft came out.

Threads of Fate - The "lost child" of Squaresoft during the late PS1 era, Threads of Fate is an action RPG that's also one of the few PS1 games to use the PS1's "hi-res" mode. Fun, but generally easy.

Faxanadu - A Metroidvania game (if you don't know what that means, Google search it) on the NES, containing RPG elements galore, and the classic line "This is not enough golds".

Crystalis - SNK's one and only action RPG, released on NES and later Game Boy Color. A surprisingly ambitious game for its time.

That's all I can think of from my immediate collection...

Sky Render - Sanity is for the weak.

Rival Schools(PS1)-A Capcom fighting game entirely made up of anime styled teachers and students. Lots of style.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo(PS1)-Best puzzle game since Tetris without a doubt.

Super Buster Bros.(SNES)-Hundreds of hours do not lie. This action-puzzler is godly.

The Punisher(Arcade)-One of the best beat 'em ups out there. Plays just like Final Fight.

I'm seriously going blank outside of Capcom. For shame.

Tag: Became a freaking mod and a complete douche, coincidentally, at the same time.

what about Tetris for the gameboy?

Piece o' Cake!

Earthbound (SNES): Epic, seriously, Fun story, good humor, cool HP system, awesome music, blah blah.

Chrono Trigger (SNES): 10 different endings based around time travel, interesting characters, side quests, story, blah blah^^

Secret of Mana (SNES): Great game, haven't played it in a while so I forget most of it^^; but it's awesome I'm sure.

Harvest moon 64 (Nintendo 64, shocker) (dunno if this is considered y'know, a main one, but I didn't think so): anyway, fun game for sure, it's like farming only without the phsyical labor. Other cool things too, but I can't think of them.

I'm sure there's more^^ but those are the most memorable

The Mother 3 Fan Translation is done! Everyone go get it right now! (Mother3.fobby.net)

But those are the "cool games", the games that came and took all the other games' lunch money. Here, we're celebretating the little guy, the underdog, the little games that could, the forgotten and unplayed classics that you'll never hear about elsewhere. Here, on this thread, the best games you've never heard of come together to celebrate one last, meteoric burst of recognition, in a thread that will reverberate through to the farthest corners of the internet and the annals of history!

And then they die again. Too bad so sad. But I've got to admit, you've got excellent taste.

Contra. The coolest game of all time, thanks to a few simple words:

Up. Up. Down. Down. Left. Right. Left. Right. B. A. Start.

My consoles and the fates they suffered:

Atari 7800 (Sold), Intellivision (Thrown out), Gameboy (Lost), Super Nintendo (Stolen), Super Nintendo (2nd copy) (Thrown out by mother), Nintendo 64 (Still own), Super Nintendo (3rd copy) (Still own), Wii (Sold)

A more detailed history appears on my profile.
