1) Why does Nintendo continue to release inferior Hardware, as compared to their competition ?

2) Why are Nintendo fans Not calling out Nintendo on their past history of low end hardware ? Past 3 generations Nintendo has had absolutely ZERO interest in releasing high end hardware.

Wasn't GameCube more powerful than PS2, and comparable in power to Xbox?

Anyway...

1) because "superior" hardware doesn't necessarily translate to better games or higher profits
2) some do complain, some don't. The community of Nintendo fans isn't monolithic

Thread. And even if you only counted last 2 gens. Hardware isnt everything. Look at SMG and MK8 for examples

some people dont care. Sales show that. There are two other consoles on the market that has specs that one would be good with and if not there is a PC you can make that would be as powerful as you want. IMHO gamimg wise, would a comparble console really help?

Sure. They make great games. They have made it clear that they are not going the route of MS and Sony. You either accept that or move on to other choices.

Also, not sure how much Nintendo's core fans care about higher end hardware. It's the people who left Nintendo that wanted more.

Regardless, NX should be on par with PS4 and Xbox One, so that appears to be over.

Because we want good games and don't give a crap how powerful the hardware is.

1) We don't know what are the specs of NX, nobody can complain about something don't know. Or at least souldn't.

2) Nintendo fans doesn't care about hardware, they only care about games. I really don't think that Ninty fans even care about thirds party support so much. All Nintendo fans I know have another system for multis.

The problem for Nintendo is if they can make enough money with her core fans to not drop their console business.
