Yesterday during a live stream Sony's Shuhei Yoshida stated the following:

"I just played Zelda! The new Zelda game. You know, open world, and hunting. And I had a bizarre feel, this feels like Horizon. This is a epic, huge game. I can not wait to play Zelda again when it comes out."

Personal thought: I stated previously here on VGChartz that the latest gameplay shown at E3 of Horizon  resembled the E3 2014 trailer for Zelda and it looks like I'm not the only one to think so...

I always like it when the people in charge play games from their competition. It gives them more ideas on how gaming should be.

Even he is praising it, just like he praised 3DWorld, the man has good taste after all.

He honestly is a breath of fresh air when comes to Sony Executives and certains fans of Sony. 

Always love these stories, whether it's Miyamoto at a Vita booth or Phil Spencer praising Uncharted. Just reminds you what it's all about :)

Are you saying that Horizon "copied" Zelda or that Zelda "copied" Horizon. And yes, copy is the wrong word, just can't find the word for it but you should understand what I mean.

It's more that BoW plays like a western game.  Watching game-play, it has so many tried-and-true elements from western open-world games that running around the world-map seems like Skyrim with a Nintendo skin.

That's not surprising. Shu is a big Nintendo fan.

This is pleasing to hear, I wonder if Reggie played some horizon XD
