Dude chill...

1. Censorship
i agree, but blaming the NX for this?? maybe just dont buy that game and protest that way.

2. Bad Paper Mario Games
For one bad game you cant asume the rest will be the same, we dont nothing about color splash, just lie 2 trailers, and yes i like de traditional RPG elements of paper mario, but that doesn't mean this game will be bad.


3. Motion Controls
We dont know if the NX will have motion controls at its core gameplay, it maybe compatible but not its focus.

4. Unfinished Games
i agree, no company should do this but Really? every company does this and you blame Nintendo for 2 games?


5. Bad Mario Party Games
i Agree that last Mario Party games sucked but for me old mario Party games where good because in that time you where forced to play with your friends in the same place, making it funnier.

agree, but its just one game you cant condemn them whith chibi robo, when they gave us games like Fire emblem, Xenoblade and zelda

Nintendo is a company they have to make money, if a product wont sell, they have to replace it. car companies do that why make you think nintendo cant?. If the sales of the WiiU where around 25M we would know even that the NX existed.

those are the reasons wii u failed lol. Therefore in theory they should be fixing these issues already for NX.

What you visualize is essentially what Gamecube, and N64, and SNES, and NES were. What Iwata and Nintendo visualized was the DS, Wii, 3DS, and Wii U. Now if I'm not mistaken, Wii outsold Gamecube, N64, SNES, and NES. DS outsold them, 3DS outsold Gamecube, N64, SNES, and soon to be NES as well.

Nintendo simply isn't trying to be like the other consoles and that has worked wonders and failures for them. But 1/4 failures(WiiU)...is only 25% failure rate at the moment. I am with Nintendo and their initiative to be different and at least try to innovate even if they fall flat on their faces because innovation isn't a sure thing unless you're apple with their own definition of "Innovation".

Yes, they're in a sticky situation but if there's one thing you don't do, it's count Nintendo out.

1.) Censorship: Does that really detract from the fun of games for you? Boobs? Really? Use the internet.

2.) Paper Mario still breaks 1 million copies with every entry. There are some who don't like the way Paper Mario is going but I am open to different styles of doing a single game series. I'm totally on board with wherever Paper Mario goes from here on out. I don't like continuously played out game styles.

3.) Motion controls: what made Nintendo kill gen 7 competition had its place but it is a novelty now, only salvageable by VR.

4.) Unfinished games: DO YOU THINK NINTENDO IS THE ONLY ONE DOING THIS? THEY JUST RECENTLY DID IT WITH SPLATOON. Look at Street Fighter V, Destiny, I mean come on. Every console has unfinished games that require day 1 patches. Nintendo's games rarely require day 1 patches that are made after the game has gone platinum.

5.) Bad Mario Party: 100% agree with you here.

6.) Don't slander the deceased. Iwata did what he was supposed to do as a CEO. He brought Nintendo into its most profitable period in its entire history and dared to make us play with consoles in a way that we didn't think we wanted to. EVERY CEO does PR stuff to not scare off potential buyers. You can't expect Iwata or Kimishima to come out and say "Oh, Wii U is a dead fish flopping around and we're not making any games for it and we're discontinuing it right now." Now who wants to invest in that?! That's why Phil Spencer is so adamant with Xbone. It is getting destroyed by PS4 but he's not going to admit defeat especially when games are still coming for the system whether you like the games or not.

7.) Lazy Effort: I agree. But I think Nintendo is making these short quick games to hold over 3DS and Wii U owners until NX. You better believe Nintendo is working on killer NX apps.

8.) Amiibo are bringing in crazy amounts of revenue for Nintendo. It was a good business move for them and millions of them have been sold. Tens of millions. I would understand if Amiibo weren't selling but they are.

9.) "Short LIFE cycles": Generations are about to come to an end anyways. But still, Wii U was released November 30th, 2012 so it's 4 year anniversary is coming up. 4-4.2 years isn't bad but it isn't good. In fact it's the shortest cycle yet. But it's a business decision that they have to make. Not everything is based off of what you think as a consumer. There are real business decisions that go on without your approval believe it or not.

Am I the only one that almost got this thread confused with the thread "NX info coming this FALL"?

OP: Let's at least wait to see what the NX is and see what Nintendo plans to actually do.

You say Nintendo needs to realize they're dong 'wrong' but what if Nintendo realized that already and the NX is the one that makes everything 'right'?

10.) Underpowered Hardware: Hmmm... NESGEN (49 Million Sold), N64>PS1 (32 Million vs. 101 Million) PS1 is 32 Bit, N64 is 64 bit. GCN>PS2 (20 Million vs. 155 Million, Gamecube was more powerful than PS2, only disc size handicapped it.), Wii<PS360 (101 Million vs 85 Million) Wii U<PS4Xbone (14 Million vs. 40/20 illion.

As you can see, power can and can't play into how well a console performs. 3DS games may not look as good as PS Vita games but hell, they sure outsell them 10X over. There's not 1 PSV game that has hit the 5 Million threshold. Or even 3 Million! One just barely hit 2 million! And it was Minecraft of course. Pokemon XY have 14.7 Million copies sold according to Nintendo.

And in case you didn't know, PS3 and Xbox 360 are not as powerful as Wii U but games are still being made for PS360. They have the same Power PC architecture. Developers just know that they can't compete with Nintendo's first party content on their consoles or they're just too lazy.

PS: Going after the mods before anything happens isn't the best way to get them to like you.

AND WE DON'T KNOW WHAT NX IS FOR YOU TO ALREADY DOWNPLAY IT.

Do you know any Nintendo game before 2015 that was released unfinished? No. Because there is no game. But in 2015 unfinished games became a serious problem. Devil's Third hasn't seen any Quality Assurance and development of Mario Tennis Ultra Smash has been stopped in the middle of it. If we support the NX, Nintendo will continue to flood the console with unfinished games.

5. Bad Mario Party Games

I LOVED Mario Party on N64 and GCN, but the recent games were all crap. Mario Party 9 was hated and yet that didn't change its formula in Mario Party 10. Island Tour was horrible and Star Rush doesn't look any better. If we support the NX, we will never get a great Mario Party game again.

Chibi-Robo: Zip Lash is seriously one of the worst Nintendo games I've ever played. They literally put ZERO effort into that game. And then they say: "If you don't buy our shit, we will kill Chibi-Robo". If we support the NX, Nintendo will make more and more lazy effort games.

8. amiibo

amiibo was a huge mistake. It isn't worth the 15 dollars per figure but Nintendo forces us to buy them so we can play the full game. They even build entire games for amiibo like Animal Crossing amiibo Nonsense. If we support the NX, it won't take long until you have to buy an amiibo to unlock the master sword in Zelda.

9. short live cycles

The Wii U will be replaced after just being four years on the market. This is the biggest betrayal in the history of Nintendo. 300 dollars wasted. If we support the NX, the NX will be replaced in 2019.

10. underpowered hardware

3DS games look horrible. Many games don't come to Wii U because it's to weak. If we support the NX, Nintendo will continue making consoles with 10 years old hardware.

 

 

As you can see the NX really needs to fail completely so that Nintendo realizes that theyare doing almost everythin wrong and that they can do a 180 degree turn. If the NX succeeds, Nintendo won't change. We have to force Nintendo to become great again by boycotting the NX. That's the only way! I decided to not buy the NX and you should join me. Thanks.

@Mods I know that you will find a reason like trolling or what ever so you can block me again and force me to stop spreading my personal opinion. I know that you hate personal opinions. That's why I was blocked the past 5 times.

1.Don't buy Censored Games if you feel like they removed important features

2. Blame Miyamoto

3. Blame Miyamoto

4. Blame the Wii U failure, still the unfinished games were pretty easy to identify and you should always wait for the reviews before buying a game in case you couldn't see it by yourself.

5. I don't know what to tell you about this one, but I'm starting to think that Miyamoto might have suggested the whole Car mechanic...

6. Yeah I don't like that either but hey, all companies lie...

7. Chibi-Robo Ziplash was a low budget game, made to see if the fans had any interest in the series, evidently either the developers couldn't find the way to make the game appealing or the people who played it did't understand the developers' intentions

8. don't buy Amiibos/Games that you feel are blocking important features/chunks of the game

9. Blame the Wii U failure

10. first you can't really say much about the 3DS, it's 5 years old, of course it's games look bad, but if Nintendo went for a more powerful hardware back in 2011 they would have probably ended up in the same sittuation that the Vita is in right now, the Wii U on the other hand was simply a mess.
