So, You think new Zelda is less similar to other 3D Zelda games than Horizon is from other action adventure games? Well...that's certainly your right to hold that opinion...

We can already see the new Zelda game isn't like the others as they're playing it on stream now.

Of course there have been changes. But it's undoutbedly a 3D Zelda game. I'd be interested in seeing what game Horizon looks so much that even two 3D Zeldas are farther apart...

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

So your logic is it's like the other games because it's part of the franchise? Games are made apart by what they do in execution not what they look like.

idk, but zelda will be a better game thats for sure.

I don't know about that. Horizon looks pretty good though I hope the lady doesn't talk as much as she did in the trailer.

1) more impressive? Horizon by a lot.
2) more unique? Horizon
3) More intriguing? Zelda because I know to expect big and tons of mystery. Guerilla Games doesn't have an amazing track record and the depths of the game may not go far beyond what they've already showed.
4) more fun? Zelda, Horizons gameplay so far has just been arrow combat and exploration. Looks great but Zelda's look more varied.

the draw distance in Zelda is pretty terrible, and the area wasn't that much populated, i guess it would look better on the possible NX. the art style also helps keep things manageable, i find this type of cellshaded'esque quite pleasing to look at.

but horizon seems to be on a different level, the world reminded me a bit of the witcher but with actually interesting combat. i'm hyped :)

sorry it's your opinion and that cool but an insult? horizon looks fantastic for what it is, a typical action adventure game like shadow of mordor with mechanical dinosaurs

And Zelda looks like a typical Zelda game with Zelda graphics and Zelda gameplay. It might as well been a DLC trailer for Windwaker.

That would be some major DLC

Zelda: Breath of Wild impressed me more.

and that's cool, because wind waker is one of the best action adventure games ever made. Imho both games look great, but i don;t understand why people need to downplay something to say that somethings is better... console wars i guess???

He is jealous.Just ignore him

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Zelda looks done to death by other games IMO. Nothing to write to your mama about unless you're a super fan. Overhype probably because of lack of competition in their conference. IMO, Horizon has much more mobility, more strategy, and a technically looking better game. I guess we'll see.

1) more impressive? -- Horizon, without doubt.

2) more unique? -- I'll give this to Zelda. At this point in the industry, Zelda-type games are less common.

3) More intriguing? -- Horizon, without a doubt. I want to explore that world and understand it.

4) more fun? -- Horizon combat obliterates anything Zelda has shown. Watching both trailers, I was almost itching to get my hands on Horizon and fight some of those monsters. It looks like you have an absolute ton of options, including hacking technobeasts. That's awesome. Horizon combat looks incredibly fun. The Zelda combat in the trailer (that's all I've seen) is nowhere near as interesting or exciting. And game-play is king, right?
