What portions of the Horizon trailer convinced you of this?

Horizon looks great. But the dynamic gameplay in Zelda will be incredibly hard to top. Zelda wins this hands-down. After watching the entire Treehouse stream and seeing what you can do in that title has me pumped beyond belief.

To be fair, many parts also look like PS360 games. It's like a gen 7.5 in terms of graphics.

OP - But to me Zelda has more of a wow factor because I'm a huge Zelda fan, and with Zelda, it's an old franchise, so seeing a huge change from the 18 year old 3D formula is more of a Wow than seeing a new IP, because there's less to go off of in terms of what to expect from it in a way. 

To be even more fair, it's still an E3 demo. But I agree, some things don't look good at all. Like the trailer when Link gets on a horse and all the colors are just washed out, the pop ins and that pine tree falling over. But then again, it's stylistic so I guess that accounts for some things.

1-4 for horizon. Probably going to wait to see reviews for it though anyways.

Zelda's animations and art design are so bad. It looked okay in SS but watching the videos told another story, combat looks hella clunky

Gravity Rush 2 > Zelda

I'm hyped for both games. When Horizon was shown last e3 it was exactly the kind of game I was waiting for to play. I was initially skeptical about Zelda after what they did with Skyward Sword but after watching the livestreams it looks like an amazing game.

Both games will be open world but they'll have different gameplay. Horizon wins in the graphics department and will look realistic and jaw-dropping but there's something about Zelda's gameplay that no other adventure series has topped so far in my opinion. I can't say which one I'm more hyped for.

I voted for Zelda because it looks more unique to me. Horizon seems to have more things in common with games like the Witcher so there's some sort of market saturation. But the last new 3D Zelda game released in 2011 (and that was a weak entry) so Zelda's got that little edge for me.
