"We're going to reimagine the Legend of Zelda! So much will change!"

Everyone: Oh, like F*** YOU ARE!

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat!

I am so hyped I can't stand it!

Welp it looks like I'll be watching Zelda all day lol

I really think people should stop comparing these visuals to some photo-realistic game. It was originally made for the Wii U, after all, and aimed for a very open world setting that they appear to have accomplished... the art style was a necessary and brilliant choice for that reason, and it looks great to me.

Besides, it appears they're playing the Wii U version; the Nx will likely look a little more cleaned up.

I share your hype, it looks amazing!

From what little we've heard I'd say we have another masterpiece of a soundtrack as well, just love the music.

Looks realy good and fun but I did not like the idea of weapons that break all the time and having to make this hughe stash of weapons because they keep breaking.

Holy Mother of God, this world is going to be enormous!

That looked excellent. I'm excited!

That looks really cool. I like this new open (opener??) world they are going for, at least more so than previous ones. The art direction looks great and is that voice acting I hear? I really hope they implement it on all the big characters, save maybe for Link since that might be jarring to fans.

However, I can't help but be generally underwhelmed. I should not be comparing it to other games on other consoles so quickly, but with games like Witcher and Horizon (which I think have a similar feel), I'm left somewhat underwhelmed on a graphical/technical level. That isn't saying much since i've never been a fan of Zelda games and I am somewhat biased against Nintendo and their performance as of late, but still, overall, I really like what I'm seeing here. I think the game is opening itself to trying some newer ideas but still remaining true to its roots. I think Nintendo struck gold here.

It's essentially Skyward Sword and Windwaker.

Looks good! Can't wait to see some dungeons.
