Sony won. It's over. The end. Accept it and move on.

Could not have said it better myself

Predicted 15+ million lifetime-sales for God of War:

My perspective, absolutely. Tons of reveals (not just new footage of previously announced titles), little to no corporate bullshittery, and even made VR look a little cool on a movie screen. I was fighting sleep at various times in all other conferences, including Ubisoft (which had a couple highs but was mostly typical E3 cringe or unbelievably boring game footage). Both in presentation and content, Sony outclassed.

Not sure how Sony or Microsoft won. Both felt very meh to me. Best thing from Sony was Spider-Man and days gone.

Best from Microsoft was forza horizon 3 and scalebound. Not much else worth getting excited over.

Forza is an annual game, Scalebound was first shown in 2014...MS cinference was all known about and very little wow factor.

[1]God of War? [2]Days Gone? [3]RE7? [4]Kojimas trailer was impressive too. But downplay if you like. Was like this last year where all the xbox fans kept trying to push that they won something..... we all know how it is viewed in retrospect.

1 - Eighth game in the series, Spring 2017 at best.

2- Zombie game - Spring 2017 (unlikely)

3- Multiplat, 2017

4- 2018 game if not canceled first.

And since you brought last year E3. Well, it´s Sony tradition annoucing games in advance, for blockbusters I think only Uncharted 4 (annouced in 2014) made the cut.

Both expected, multiplat and expected as well... Seriously, I watched it and I can't fathom why it was more impressive! Only Crash wowed me, and I don't wow over new stuff, but over knowing that something will be out soon...

Doesn't help that Harada had the most badass stunt in the MS Conference, having played himself and appearing in a kimono...

Didn't you make an entire thread on blizzard being the best ever because they venture out their comfort zone into new genres???  To do that requires new IP.

Blizzard havent made a new IP for 10 years until Overwatch just recently. You have just proved my point even further. Blizzard use the games that there fans want to play, they tackle new genres all the time however they use there beloved franchises to do it. Yes a new IP is good every so often however it isnt a must. For example, I wouldnt buy or even look at Halo Wars 2 if it wasnt related to the Halo universe because i just simply wouldnt care enough, regardless how good it is.

That sucks for you because there are plenty good games without the halo name attached to it. I do like sequels and new IPs, they all have their place.

I think the unspoken highlight of E3 might be just how shit Infinite Warfare looks lol. Me and my friends thought it was a PS3 or PSVR game while they were showing it. Never mind how generic it looks. CoD is gonna die this year

Walking PR?

LOL I do remember that quote while watching it live and laughing so hard. And while his words are quite extreme, I do agree that Sony had a very solid presentation showing nothing but games.
